I am not a Communist. I am still not entirely certain as to what that is. But since confessions of teachery seem to be going around, I guess I ought to get this out there:

I am a member of the Rebel Alliance. Those loyal to the Empire would be the first to tell you that makes me a traitor.

I, on the other hand, am proud to have fought against their tyranny. Proud of almost all of it.

Except for my first kill being a member of my own squadron.

Kissek panicked, he was about to give the whole squadron's position away to the Imperials. Porkins and I were sent to stop him, but it was me who took the shot.

There probably were civilian casualties in some of the battles. Compared to what the Empire could do with their Death Star though. We did the right thing.

They told the scientist who developed it that it was a mining device, but it was always intended as a terror weapon. There were billions of people on Alderaan when the Empire destroyed it.

"I don't think rebelling a force like that is a bad thing. I'm pretty sure the UE-Spacy would declare something like that a high priority target for destruction itself."

That's what I thought too. Well, obviously. We've managed to mostly eliminate them. At the very least, they no longer have the resources to build planet killers.
